We took a little trip to St. Louis for Labor Day weekend and did a little relaxing at Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill's house in Lebanon. I think this solidified our desire to have a little piece of peace and quiet somewhere.
The thing about Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill's is that everything has a story. I would like to know each of them. Aunt Mary collected rabbits as long as I can remember and she has some pretty cool ones. Such as the indian rabbit.
On the way to Lebanon we stopped by Grandma Smart's in Rolla. We got to play with the walker a little more which is always a favorite. Jillian really learned to walk with that thing nearly 3 years ago!
Aunt Mary also is the Queen of Mardi Gras. She had a box of beads and masks for us that Jillian just loved!
I also discovered that Jillian could use my camera pretty good these days. A budding photographer! It is official, Jillian can use the iPhone better than most grown ups.
We were all pretty excited to see the horses at Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary's too. This colt was born on Annie's birthday.
We drove up to Grandma Jaggi's as well and had a nice little visit with her as well. Our little engineer was very interested in the k'nex...or maybe that was her parents.
We had a very nice get together at Aunt Maggie's and even got some cousin time in.
And finally we spotted islands in flight from St. Louis to Dallas while playing pirate with a kaleidoscope. Awesome.
