Cousin Week(s) Part 1

We are having my brother's 2 little girls stay with us in Texas for the next few weeks.  I travelled up to St. Louis to get the girls this weekend and Jillian was about ready to burst with excitement from the moment I brought it up to her.  She was a bit distraught that she didn't get to go to St. Louis and get the girls with me, but I just couldn't see myself handling 3 girls aged 1, 2, and 3 on the flight and all.  Though the thought did cross my mind.

We spent most of the day just getting to really know each other better, and the girls are just so sweet.  We have had several conversations about sharing, but for the most part, everybody has gotten along splendidly!

Here is our little sweet faced Autumn Grace.  She is one year younger than Jillian.  (Just a bit bigger!) I think Ryan is ready to keep her.

We put the girls to work right away.

Becca thought she was a big help cleaning the chalkboard "for Aunt Cindy."  She started cleaning everything.  I didn't stop her.

Becca consoling Jillian about sharing.

She spent most of her day in Jillian's fort.

This is my invention.  Ryan and I get sick of bubbles spilling all over the place.  We are working on different technologies to prevent the spillage.  This worked great! Ryan wants a more permanent solution.   More to come!

Ryan had the genius idea to take a wagon ride.  The girls were so excited about it.  Awesome idea, Daddy!

After dinner, our little potty princesses got matching tattoos!

I look over to see this cute little face coming out of my cabinets.

Brought back a memory....This is Jillian in January 2010.  Right before her first birthday.
