Cheaters never prosper...but sometimes they get metals

Daddy ran in a 5K this weekend.  Mommy and I decided to get up with him and show our support.  It was a pretty chilly morning, but we had a really nice time with Daddy's friends at the race.  It was pretty funny, because the race wasn't that well put together.  Almost everybody took a short cut on the route!  So Daddy ran his "5K" in 21 minutes.  Daddy's pretty fast, but I don't know that he is that fast.  The folks with the race didn't even acknowledge that everyone ran a short race.  They gave out the metals like nothing was up!  So Daddy got 1st in his age group.  It was pretty silly.

I did get to spend some time at the playground. I LUV this swing.  I am also sporting my little shoes.  Could anything be sweeter than baby tennis shoes?

That swing made my hands pretty cold so mommy let me borrow her gloves.  I felt a little silly wearing them.

Let the Spoiling Commence

My Mimi and Grandpa Jaggi came down from Oklahoma to visit this weekend.  The one thing I have learned, Mimi & Grandpa = Spoiling.  Mimi brought me a new toy, and some hair bows, and a new dress.  I think the dress may fit me pretty good around Christmas, so stay tuned for that one.

Mommy and I have also been saving my ballerina outfit to show off with Mimi.  This tutu is a bit itchy, but beauty is pain girls, right?  And boy do I look good.

I am also getting so close to just taking off all by myself.  All I need is a touch to balance myself.  Please remember that I am only 8 months so I am pretty proud of myself.  Just imagine how quickly I will be running from my poor mommy and daddy!

My 1st Tooth

A few weeks ago, I finally got my first tooth.  Since then mommy has been hoping to get a good picture of it, but I am keeping it out of the lime light for now.  These little smiling pictures will have to do.

Should I call you Mrs. Janak?

My Aunt Annie and Uncle Bret got married yesterday!  I don't have any pictures from the actual wedding yet, but it was BEAUTIFUL!  Grandma Rabbitt, Aunt Diane, Grandma Mattingly and Grandpa Rabbitt all came to see me..I mean, Aunt Annie's wedding of course.
