Beware of the snow leopard...

I broke out my super cute fur coat for Christmas.  My Mimi's friend, Mrs. Sue, gave me this coat.  It's the cutest of the cutest cute!

Oklahoma is the place to be...

We finally made it to Oklahoma on Saturday morning.  I have been Christmassing for 2 weeks now.  What a great first Christmas!  Mimi and Grandpa along with Uncle Greg and Aunt Christie really know how to spoil a girl rotten.

Cousin Nicholas loves Bogie.  I can't wait until we are able to play more together.  I love staring at him.

I wasn't snowed in...I was snowed out

You have to stay flexible.  That's what I always am telling my mommy and daddy.  Old man winter tested us this Christmas.  Dallas had a fairly big storm for Texas, but Grandpa and Mimi got the storm of the century in OKC!  We got up Christmas morning and got all packed up when we found out that the highways were all still closed.  So we turned around and went home.  We are planning to just head up this morning instead.

Having a tree in my living room is so much fun!  My mommy doesn't think the ornaments are toys, but I sure do.

A view from my house Christmas Eve. Let it snow!

Here is my backyard and the view of the Baptist Church in the backdrop.

Don't think that snow meant we didn't have a Merry Christmas. It didn't slow that Santa down one bit.  I got more than a girl could ask for. My favorite present had to be my new phone. As you can tell, I have important business to discuss.

Dynamite Comes In Small Packages, Right?

We went in for my 9 months check up at 10 months due to some scheduling conflict.  That's when we found out that I am only in the 3rd percentile for my weight.  I am 20th for my height, and 40th for my head.  So I looked that nurse square in the face and said, "So, I am skinny, short, and smart.  Just like my mommy!"

Here are my stats, just in case you are wondering
  • Weight: 16 lbs. 2 oz. (3%)
  • Height: 27 in. (20%)
  • Head: 44.1 cm (40%)

A visit to see the big guy...

Mommy, Daddy, and me went to see Santa this afternoon.  It was a 2 hour wait, but since we went to Bass Pro, we were well entertained.  I had a great time!  I saw fish, deer, elk, and even bears!  Santa was pretty cool too.  I was so nervous for my big shot that I forgot to smile really big, but maybe I will have him over at my house soon.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

With the move, Christmas has really snuck up on us!  Thankfully, mommy got out the Christmas cards so she can focus on more important things, like me.  Aunt Annie and Uncle Bret came over on Saturday night to do a little Christmasing with us.  Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures from our recent trip to St. Louis where I Christmased with my cousins since my mommy forgot the camera.  However, as you can see I like presents.

Aunt Annie and Uncle Bret got me my very own camera for Christmas.  It is yellow and blue, and sings to me, and tells me when to smile.  It does everything, but take pictures!  Not that I mind that, I am just fine dancing to the music.

Who moves in the middle of the Holidays?

My parents are CRAZY.  Can you believe that they actually moved on December 4th?  Additionally, we went out of town for both Thanksgiving and the weekend after the big move for a wedding.  Talk about a hectic holiday season, and it's my first one.  This place has been a mess.  Finally, things are starting to settle down.

The new house is FABULOUS!  I am getting used to the hardwood floors everywhere, but Daddy's room is my favorite.  Lots of play space up there.  I also love the stairs.  Too bad mommy put a gate up.  I think I can beat Berkley up the steps.  I haven't thought about how to get down yet.  I am sure I will figure it out when the time comes.

My other favorite thing about the new house is the cabinets.  The doors open and close and there is stuff to take out of them, it is the most fun ever.  Who needs toys when you have a kitchen full of cabinets?

Just a few little tricks...

So Much To Be Thankful For

Well, it couldn't have been a better Thanksgiving weekend.  Of course we made our typical pilgramage back to St. Louie to visit all of my extended family.  It was complete chaous, utterly exhausting, and so worthwhile.  We flew in on Wednesday afternoon and visited my Grandma Mattingly's.  Grandma Rabbitt, Uncle JJ & Aunt Sarah, Aunt Diane, Steven, Nathen, and Becca all were there.

Becca is running around like crazy and is talking up a storm! She has changed the most out of all of my cousins.

Thanksgiving day was a lot of fun as well.  We woke up at Uncle John's house and then went over to Aunt Maggie's.  Just about all the Rabbitt clan was over there including my Grandpa Rabbitt and all my cousins.  I did have to show off my walking tricks a bit over there.  Everyone was quite impressed with me.  More on that later.

After Aunt Maggie's, we went over to Grandma Mattingly's and hung out with all my cousins.  They sure are fun.

On Friday morning, we made a trip over to Great Grandma and Grandpa Rabbitt's house for  a little brunch.  They sure love me.  It is always good to have a nice visit with them.  So many stories.

On Friday afternoon, we made a road trip to Rolla to visit Grandma Smart and Aunt Kathy and Uncle Mike.  I may be little, but I am full of fun. Grandma Smart let me borrow her walker and I was able to go like CRAZY!

We also got to see mommy's friend, Katie, and her son, Logan.  Logan is only 3 months and we are about the same size.  What an eater!

Ok, finally on Saturday afternoon we went up to St. Peter's to see Great Grandma Jaggi.  And for a little treat, Mimi and Grandpa Jaggi came up from OKC to visit as well.  I got to meet a bunch of my Jaggie and Ruck cousins.  I was the star of the show!

Look, Mom, No Hands

Sometimes, you just have to stand up for yourself.  That's what I always say.  So here I am standing up for myself.  I finally let mommy take my picture doing it.  I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but Mommy kept saying, "one small step for mankind", and all that.
